Septic System Installation done right in Orchard Ranch

We excavate and install to the approved design, set the tank and lines at the right fall, and backfill and grade so the system drains and the surface sheds water. We coordinate the inspection so the cover-up is signed off, not guessed at.

Why DB Excavation

Site work builders can
schedule around

Crews and GCs lean on us because the pad comes in to grade, the schedule holds, and the work passes inspection. No surprises on the job site.

01Built to spec, to grade

Pads and grades cut to plan, compacted, and finished so the slab goes down clean and the work passes inspection.

02Local ground knowledge

Decomposed granite, rock shelves, sloped lots, and monsoon runoff. We know how Quad Cities ground behaves and grade for it.

03Equipment for the job

A full fleet of excavators, loaders, and attachments to handle rock, slope, and scale, from a single pad to a full site.

04Licensed, insured, dependable

Fully licensed under AZ ROC #359583 and insured, with realistic schedules and clear communication start to finish.

The ground in Orchard Ranch

In Orchard Ranch the caliche hides under the surface until the machine finds it, so we dig the tank and leach trenches to the depth the design calls for, work them in tight between set streets and neighbors, and grade the cover to shed water.

Orchard Ranch sits around 4,700 feet off Highway 69 in Dewey-Humboldt, in the country between the Bradshaws and Mingus Mountain. The lots here are worked for manufactured and site-built homes, so the site work is less about clearing timber and more about getting pads level, tight, and draining right the first time.

The high-desert transition ground here runs to chaparral, rolling grade, and a caliche layer that hides under the surface until a machine finds it. The Agua Fria River corridor runs nearby, so low spots and old drainage paths matter, and a lot of these lots are worked in close quarters between existing homes and set streets. Access is tight and the ground is unforgiving of a pad that was not compacted in proper lifts.

Older owners settling in for the long haul do not want to be chasing a settling pad or a puddle at the door two seasons after move-in. A licensed contractor who reads the grade, hits code, and builds it to last saves you the repair bill and the headache down the road.

Our lot wouldn't drain. DB regraded it and installed a drainage system, handled the rock without drama, and stayed on budget. Excellent work.
